Cowboys, Grey Eagle, PURE Casino Calgary and Stoney Nakoda list slots and tables separately, so each gets two bars. ACE Casino Blackfoot's main site doesn't say when it reopens on Sunday after 3 AM; its Gold Club page lists Sunday 9 AM to 3 AM. ACE Casino Airport's own pages disagree on whether it is open before 9 AM on Sunday. The chart shows both gaps as closed.

AGLC (Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis) sets the rules and registers operators; the Alberta iGaming Corporation signs the agreement that lets a registered operator go live. A name on the AGLC register alone does not mean the site is live.

Which Calgary casinos are open on a weekday morning?
Monday to Thursday, PURE Casino Calgary's slots and poker room are open 24/7, and Grey Eagle's slots run 24 hours. ACE Casino Airport opens at 9:00 AM, while Elbow River, Deerfoot Inn and Century Downs open at 9:30 AM. ACE Casino Blackfoot also opens in the morning, but confirm its exact opening time with the casino before an early visit. At Cowboys, the doors open at 9:30 AM, the slots at 10:00 AM and the live tables at 12:00 PM; Grey Eagle's tables open at 10:00 AM. Out by Kananaskis, Stoney Nakoda opens its slots at 10:00 AM and its tables at 2:00 PM. Poker rooms keep their own hours: Cowboys, Deerfoot Inn and ACE Casino Airport run theirs 24 hours, and Elbow River's runs 24 hours Thursday to Saturday.
Which ones can I reach without a car?
Elbow River Casino is about a block from Victoria Park / Stampede CTrain station, and Cowboys Casino is within walking distance of it. ACE Casino Blackfoot can be reached by public transit. For the others, no transit details are confirmed; the “Transit directions” link in each venue entry opens a route from your area.
How old do I need to be?
18. That is the legal gambling age in Alberta, for venues and for online play.
Is it legal to play at an online casino in Alberta?
Yes. Since July 13, 2026, people in Alberta may play at private online casinos. The operator needs AGLC registration and an agreement with the Alberta iGaming Corporation before it can take real-money play.
